Why Not Not?
Why not? Working with itadori aka knotweed in Okayama, we kept saying >>it's not not<<, a funny double negation; in German, the word Not is already a doubling (distress, adversity, material); It's not not art. It's not not research. the gesture of refusal itself, negation as practice a chance to create something new, being something through what we resist being named.
